Courier Service Frequently Asked Questions

Tracking, signatures, delivery proof, unattended delivery, document handling and other answers about using I’ll Go 4 It.

How I’ll Go 4 It Works

Tracking, proof of delivery, signatures, unattended delivery, secure document handling, scheduling, and pickup requirements — explained in plain language.

How can I track my delivery?

Customers can follow a delivery from the Tracking area in their account. Tracking can show the delivery as it moves through the customer-facing stages, including Request Submitted, Driver Assigned, Driver Starting, En Route to Pickup, Arrived at Pickup, Picked Up, En Route to Dropoff, Arrived at Dropoff, and Delivered. ETA information, pickup-release updates, and other order activity may also appear when available.

For driver safety and privacy, customers are not shown the driver’s exact live GPS position. Important location and status events are recorded internally as part of the order’s delivery record.

Does I’ll Go 4 It keep location records as proof of delivery?

Yes. For delivery verification, proof of service, and recordkeeping, I’ll Go 4 It stores applicable driver GPS coordinates, timestamps, delivery status events, photographs, signatures, and other proof-of-delivery information in the system record. This creates an internal audit trail showing when and where important pickup and delivery events occurred.

Customers are not shown the driver’s exact live GPS position. Recorded location data is retained internally for delivery documentation and audit purposes.

Can I require a signature at delivery?

Yes. Standard delivery requests can be set to Signature Required, so an authorized recipient must receive the delivery. Some delivery types, including eligible pharmacy deliveries, are signature-only and cannot be left unattended.

Do you provide proof of delivery?

Yes. Proof depends on the type of handoff. A completed delivery record can include applicable timestamps, delivery status events, driver GPS coordinates, photographs, recipient signatures, and other documented delivery activity. Unattended deliveries require documented delivery that includes a photo and delivery record.

Can I request photo documentation?

Yes. Photo documentation is automatically part of the proof-of-delivery process for unattended deliveries. You can also request photographs for other courier requests by adding that request to your pickup or delivery instructions.

Drivers also have the ability to add a documentation photo to the order record even when a photo was not specifically required, when a photograph would be useful for documenting the pickup, item condition, location, handoff, or completed delivery.

What is an unattended delivery?

For eligible deliveries, you can authorize the driver to leave the order at the delivery location you provide. Before submitting, you must accept the Unattended Delivery Authorization & Release. The driver documents the completed delivery with the required proof, including a photo and delivery record. Once the order is placed at the approved location and the delivery is documented, custody and risk of loss transfer according to the unattended-delivery authorization.

Can every delivery be left unattended?

No. Unattended delivery is not appropriate for every order. Deliveries that require a signature, including eligible pharmacy deliveries, must be handed to an authorized recipient. Other restrictions may apply based on the item, pickup-location requirements, delivery instructions, or the nature of the request.

Can I add special pickup or delivery instructions?

Yes. The request form supports pickup and delivery instructions such as suite or unit information, access details, gate instructions, contact procedures, document-handling notes, and other information the driver may need to complete the request safely and correctly.

How do pickup codes, barcodes, QR codes, or release information work?

Some pickup locations require additional information before they will release an item or document. Depending on the location, this might be a pickup code, barcode, QR code, order number, confirmation number, patient information, or the name of the person authorized to collect the item.

You can provide available release information when creating the request. If the pickup location gives you a code or other release information later, certain details can be added or updated from Tracking.

If a business, office, pharmacy, retailer, or other pickup location requires the specific person arriving for the pickup to be named, wait until a driver has accepted your request and use only the assigned driver information shown in Tracking.

Can I schedule a pickup for later?

Yes. A courier request does not have to be ready immediately. You can indicate that the pickup is Ready Now or provide the date and time when the item, document, order, prescription, package, or other delivery will be ready for pickup.

For example, a law office may have documents ready at 3:00 PM, a title company may need a closing packet picked up tomorrow morning, a business may need an item collected after a certain time, or a retailer may provide its own ready-by time.

If the expected ready time changes, available scheduling information can be updated through Tracking. Same-day and scheduled service are subject to driver availability, distance, requested timing, and the pickup actually being ready when the driver arrives.

Do retail orders have to be prepaid?

Yes. Retail and merchant pickup orders must be fully paid before pickup. I’ll Go 4 It is a courier and pickup-and-delivery service; drivers are not sent to make the retail purchase for you.

Do you handle legal and other sensitive documents?

Yes. I’ll Go 4 It offers legal-document and professional-document courier service with an emphasis on discretion and careful handling. The owner is a former paralegal and legal coder and understands the importance of confidential business and legal materials. I’ll Go 4 It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, notarization, or process-serving services unless separately offered and qualified.

Do you provide real estate document courier service?

Yes. Courier service is available for real estate professionals, title companies, closing-related businesses, and other customers needing local transport of documents, keys, packets, and other approved materials.

Can you pick up prescriptions?

Yes, for eligible pharmacy pickups. Pharmacy requests require additional information because the driver is acting as the customer’s designated pickup agent. The request may require the patient’s full name, date of birth, pickup location, and designated-agent authorization needed for the pharmacy to release the prescription.

Pharmacy deliveries require a recipient signature and cannot be left unattended. Controlled substances are prohibited through I’ll Go 4 It. Pharmacy service is limited to eligible prescriptions and pharmacy items that may appropriately be released to a designated third-party pickup person under the pharmacy’s requirements. The pharmacy has the final say on whether it will release a particular prescription to a designated pickup person.

What happens if a signature-required delivery cannot be completed?

A signature-required delivery is not automatically converted to an unattended drop-off because the recipient is unavailable. The driver records the unsuccessful delivery attempt and follows the applicable delivery and return process.

Depending on the request, the next step may include contacting the customer, following additional Dispatch instructions, completing delivery to another authorized recipient when permitted, or returning the item or documents to the original pickup location when delivery cannot be completed.

Applicable timestamps, location information, contact attempts, status changes, and return activity are retained in the order record so there is an audit trail of what occurred.

Where does I’ll Go 4 It currently serve?

Who can use I’ll Go 4 It?
